Committed to a Cause

Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

16 years ago, 19 hijackers took over several planes and sought to take as many lives as possible.  Two of these planes crushed into the World Trade Center and the rest is history.  Countless lives were lost, security had been breached and September 11th is a day where 19 men changed our world forever.

As Christians, we can question the hijacker’s religion; however it is hard to question their commitment.  God requires the believer to be committed to a cause.  This cause is the gospel of Jesus Christ.  This cause is greater than self and requires total commitment.  We are not suggesting that God intends for us to be martyrs.  The Bible tells us that He prefers for us to be living sacrifices (Romans 12:1).  That being said, our Father is asking that we be committed to Him more than ever before so that we can reach others with the gospel message.  Can you answer this question?  Are you committed to a cause?
